Did I miss a merger or something?

In a similar vein, my Mahle cabin air filter came in Denso packaging, though at least both brands didn’t share the packaging.

Could be a shared component. Maybe a misprint.

I put an AC Delco generator on my Galaxie. There are a lot of common-industry sorts of parts, so I’d assume that’s a meets-Mopar-certification stamp and that AC Delco supplies to the Mopar parts chain, because they’re the actual manufacturer/rebuilder.
At the ground level, there’s a lot more trade comity and interweaving than you’d think.

There's a couple of hundred of em. Boxes say Mopar opened em up and they all look like this.

It’s just weird to see it on the same package. I’ve seen a mopar sticker on ac delco parts before but not like this. I think it’s hard nowadays to buy a steering gear that’s not ac delco.

not as funny as the one i saw years ago, Holden part number on a box, flip the box over for the Ford part number
